AFC Urgent Care Southcenter is now offering COVID-19 diagnostic swab testing to provide patients who have recently exhibited symptoms of the novel coronavirus and are in need of an accurate diagnosis. Our urgent care center is offering the Becton Dickinson antigen test, a rapid swab test that takes moments to perform and detects the active virus in mere minutes. 

Swab testing is the most effective way to get an accurate diagnosis. AFC Urgent Care Southcenter performs COVID-19 testing by appointment only six days a week. Please use the buttons above to schedule an appointment.

What to Expect at AFC Urgent Care Southcenter

When you choose to visit AFC Urgent Care for your non-life-threatening medical needs, you will be seen quickly by a board-certified medical provider who will be able to provide you with the proper care each time. With a fully trained staff of providers and medical assistants, we are able to provide you with thorough diagnosis and treatment with short wait times and visits. Our facility has an on-site lab and digital X-Ray, allowing for prompt results in order to determine the most effective method of care. AFC Urgent Care Southcenter is open seven days a week with extended evening and weekend hours to best fit your busy schedule, and appointments are not required. Most major health insurance plans are accepted by our center and low rates are available for self-pay patients. We serve patients throughout Kent and the surrounding South Sound cities including SeaTac, Tukwila, Renton and South Seattle.

DOT Physicals at AFC Urgent Care Southcenter

A DOT physical exam will include an evaluation of an employee’s vision, hearing, blood pressure/pulse rate, and overall physical ability. It will also test for illegal drugs. If drivers take any medications, they’ll need to bring a complete list to the exam, including the doses and doctors’ information. Any drivers that require corrective vision or hearing need to bring their eyeglasses, contacts, or hearing aids. If a driver suffers from any other medical condition, they may be required to bring additional information. Drivers do not need to abstain from eating before their DOT physical exam.
